Focus Area: RMNCH+A

India’s RMNCH+A strategy recognises the interdependence of RMNCH+A interventions across the life stages and adopts a comprehensive approach to address inequitable distribution of healthcare services for the vulnerable population groups, and in poor-performing geographies of the country. Despite steady improvement in indicators, maternal mortality is at 97 per lakh live births (2018-20), infant mortality is at 28 per 1000 births (as of 2020), total unmet need of family planning is 9.4% (NFHS-V) and regional disparities in India are high.

We, at SKI, are adopting a health systems approach to provide actionable recommendations to design and strengthen solutions, with a keen focus on human resources, financing, infrastructure and enhancing acceptability, inclusion and equity of services delivered.
