Shweta Gaur comes with over 14 years of experience leading pan-India projects in the social impact sector. She has diverse experience and has worked with the entire continuum of the development sector, ranging from NGOs, foundations, government and the corporate sector.
As an Engagement Manager at Sattva, she is a part of the Education Practice Area at Sattva Knowledge Institute. Shweta works toward bringing data driven solutions in the development sector.
Before joining Sattva, Shweta was the Research Head at LXL Ideas. Shweta started her career as a development sector professional with a UNDP project on ‘Rural Tourism and Livelihoods’, after submitting my thesis from the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, JNU, in 2007. Since then, she has been part of the Government of India and NGO projects contributing toward improving the quality of education in the country.
Shweta was also part of the first International Kid’s Film Festival (IKFF) of India, and contributed to building a curriculum around film pedagogy and life skills in children.
She holds a doctorate degree in Regional Development from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya.
