Rahul Shah is a Principal in the Non-Profit Advisory unit at Sattva, bringing in nearly 15 years of global experience spanning the corporate and impact sectors.
Rahul’s diverse experience in the development sector has evolved from his time working at the grassroots level in Ahmedabad, to community organising in his hometown of Washington, DC, consulting with social organisations across domains and managing multi-year development projects.
At Sattva he has had the opportunity to work with leading non-profits, social enterprises, foundations, corporates, impact investors and philanthropists across sectors, services and geographies around the globe.
Immediately prior to joining Sattva, Rahul was with TechnoServe India where he managed a CSR funded accelerator program for women-led social enterprises & NGOs, and a USAID funded project transferring frugal agricultural innovations from India to Africa. In addition to his development sector work, Rahul also has five years of experience in corporate finance with industry leading, Fortune 500 companies in the United States.
Rahul has both an MBA and Master of Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
