Rahul Shah brings 14+ years of holistic and global experience across the corporate and social sector. This spans senior leadership roles in finance, impact consulting, and board positions at non-profit organisations.
At Sattva, Rahul’s responsibilities include business leadership, client services and market engagement. As part of Sattva’s leadership team, Rahul leads a 20+ member team across Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi and works on new product development, people development and knowledge management. He also spends time advising project teams and growing relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Alongside his core role, he has contributed to Sattva’s institutional journey by developing its organisational strategy, along with an operational plan implemented by 20+ leading non-profits. He helped create, codify and scale up Sattva’s proprietary organisational diagnostic tool and fundraising maturity model that’s since been used by 100s of non-profits.
Prior to joining Sattva, Rahul was Assistant Project Manager at TechnoServe where he operated an accelerator programme for women-led social enterprises and NGOs, and a USAID funded project, transferring frugal agricultural innovations from India to Africa.
Rahul holds a B.Sc degree in Economics from Towson University, and an MBA in Organisational Strategy & Non-profit Management from the University of Maryland; and an MS Finance in Investments from University of Maryland. He also secured an Executive Certificate in Non-profit Management from Georgetown University.
