Parvathy Ramanathan

Parvathy leads Sattva’s technology CSR Programme Management platform – SHIFT.

Parvathy has worked extensively in both the US and India at the intersection of systemic transformation and technology, in sectors including Government, Healthcare and Education.

Parvathy is an entrepreneurial leader, now focused on solving urgent problems in the development sector, leveraging over 18 years of global experiences in strategy, marketing, product innovation, services delivery and business development. She has launched, generated and managed global revenue streams across products and services. Her leadership roles range from Accel-Partners funded Big Data Analytics start- up to Fortune-500 firms like Amazon, IQVIA and McGraw-Hill. Her experience spans sectors including Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Education and Retail.

Parvathy has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelors in Engineering from RAIT, Mumbai University.

Shambhavi Srivastava

Shambhavi leads the Research Advisory vertical at Sattva and brings in 9 years of experience in research and public policy projects in the sectors of rural livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion. Shambhavi brings with her strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods using mixed-method approaches, statistical tools and experience with leading outreach and dissemination activities on the field and in the ecosystem. She has served as a Principal Investigator (PI) on numerous gender, public health, financial inclusion and rural livelihood projects.

Prior to Sattva, Shambhavi worked as Research Manager for Institute of Financial Management and Research (IFMR LEAD), India where she served as the PI and programme lead for policy projects in the Financial Inclusion vertical on multi-stakeholder projects in collaboration with partners such as DFID, Access Assist, SIDBI, Ministry of Finance and the University of Munich.

Shambhavi holds a Master of Arts degree in Cultural and Social Geography from the University of British Columbia, Canada, a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations and Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India and a Bachelors in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, India.

Niharika Bora

Niharika leads the Careers in Impact vertical at Sattva.

She also anchors the engagement with the talent network in the social sector. She is passionate about talent and brings in deep expertise in attracting talent to technology companies and non-profits spread across India, US, Canada and Malaysia. Prior to joining Sattva, she consulted non-profits and start-ups on their people strategy, people operations, employee engagement and talent acquisition. Niharika also runs an online community of professionals working in the social sector and coaches people on their career in the social sector, including roles and organisations that they should consider.

She has an engineering degree in electronics from Nagpur University and a post graduate diploma in Human Resources from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.

Rahul Shah

Rahul leads Non-Profit Advisory at Sattva, leveraging his deep experience working on organisational development with social organisations across domain areas, size, scale, challenges and aspirations.

His diverse experience in the development sector has evolved from his time working at the grassroots level in Ahmedabad, India, to community organising in his hometown of Washington, DC, consulting with social organisations across domains and managing multi-year development projects. Prior to joining Sattva, Rahul worked with TechnoServe India where he managed a CSR funded accelerator programme for women-led social enterprises and NGOs, and a USAID funded project transferring frugal agricultural innovations from India to Africa. In addition to his development sector work, he has five years of progressive experience in corporate finance with industry leading, Fortune 500 corporations in the United States.

Rahul has an MBA and an MS Finance from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business and an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Georgetown University.

Bobbymon George

Bobbymon is part of the leadership team and heads Impact Measurement and Advisory at Sattva.

He brings over 15 years of experience in the development sector, across program design, implementation, and Monitoring and Evaluation. He has designed and delivered more than 75 social impact assessment projects across sectors and geographies with large CSRs and Foundations such as Google, JPMorgan, ACC, Philips, L&T Infotech, L&T Financial Services, Dell and Fidelity. He has been instrumental in developing & publishing a Lifeskills assessment tool for youth.

He holds a master’s degree in Social work and is an alumnus of the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Programme.

Lakshmi Sethuraman

Lakshmi currently heads Operations at Sattva. She has been with Sattva since 2010 and has led a diverse set of projects during this time working extensively with leaders of social organisations in building and scaling their operations sustainably. She has also worked with key CSR clients of Sattva in designing, implementing impactful programmes. She also set up the sales function at Sattva.

Prior to Sattva, Lakshmi has worked with the Manipal Group, Jubilant Retail and ITC Hotels across sales, business development and strategy functions. She holds a PGDM from T.A.Pai Management Institute and is an alumunus of the INSEAD social entrepreneurship programme.

Vrunda Bansode

Vrunda Bansode leads Marketing at Sattva. She has co-founded two education sector ventures, which focus on experiential STEM education for children. She has been part of the management team at NSRCEL – the startup incubator at IIM Bangalore, where she was also involved in conceptualising and setting up an incubator for early-stage non-profits in association with MSDF. She continues to actively contribute to entrepreneurship development, early-stage venture incubation eco-system and women entrepreneurship development initiatives through workshops, sessions and writing. She has co-authored a book for children called “Become a Junior Inventor” published by Penguin Random House.

Her prior work experience includes working with large corporations such as Bosch, Honeywell, Apple and Intuit in different capacities. She holds a Master’s degree from University of Pune and a PGDBM from Indo-German Training Centre, Mumbai.

Aarti Mohan

Aarti brings strong expertise in creating, developing and publishing insights and content products centred around social impact and sustainability to reach diverse audiences. She has worked with multiple stakeholders in the social impact, sustainability, corporate, social sector, and the content, design, research and communications domain.
She has contributed to various publications including The Alternative, Women’s Web, Teacher Plus, Parent Circle and Deccan Chronicle. Aarti is a graduate from BITS Pilani and is an Alumnus of the IIM-Bangalore Management Program for Women Entrepreneurs (MPWE)

Rathish Balakrishnan

Rathish Balakrishnan is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Sattva Consulting. As part of his role, Rathish has extensive experience in conceptualising and implementing large-scale solutions that brings together leading foundations, corporations, civil society organisations and the government. He has extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of sectors across Education, Skill & Livelihoods, Women Empowerment, Migration and Child Rights.

Over the last ten years, Rathish has worked closely with leading non-profit leaders in enabling organisations in enabling orbit shifting change. Together with the non-profit leaders, Rathish has designed and helped implement long-term organisational strategies, operational effectiveness initiatives and rigorous governance structures that enable them to scale their impact. Rathish has contributed at both state and national level policy discussions across education and skill development. He is a published author and TEDx speaker. Prior to Sattva, Rathish worked across multi-national and international organisations across research, engineering, product management and corporate strategy divisions. He is a graduate from BITS Pilani.

Srikrishna Sridhar Murthy (Krishna)

Krishna is the co-founder and CEO at Sattva and is responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth and impact of the organisation. Over the last decade, Krishna has been working with the leadership of Global Foundations, Social Organisations and Corporates to design and scale their social impact initiatives, across India, SE Asia, Africa and Europe. Krishna leads many collective impact initiatives across different themes like water, education, livelihoods and is an active member of the CII National Committee on Sports.

Krishna started his career as an early member of Dell R&D in India and was the Founding Partner of Longhouse Consulting, a boutique executive search firm focused on technology and emerging sectors in India. Krishna is an alumnus of BITS, Pilani and INSEAD and serves on the Advisory Board of multiple social impact and technology start-ups.
