Satvika Mahajan

Satvika provides strategic advise to international clients at Sattva.

She has also worked with large scale foundations, social enterprises, consortiums and organisations in designing and implementing key strategic solutions and programmes in India.

Satvika’s foray into this sector began early, when she volunteered part-time with Mr. Maheishgirri (current Member of Parliament) in his political campaign on key health initiatives. She was a founding member of the LSR chapter of the international social entrepreneurship society, Enactus, as a part of which, she enabled farmers to transition from chemical farming to organic farming and helped their wives gain alternative means of livelihood, thereby increasing the average household income. As a Young India Fellow, she worked with a Dalit Youth Advocacy Organisation to help them address key operational challenges and address gaps in effective engagement with the youth. She strives to marry her business knowledge with the social context to achieve impact outcomes. She is dedicated to working with social entrepreneurs to bring innovations to scale

Satvika is a Young India Fellow (2016) and has a Bachelors in Commerce from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi

Richa Bindal

Richa is part of the Consulting Services team in Delhi, helping organisations design and implement effective social development models.

Prior to Sattva, she worked in strategy and marketing and consulting roles across diverse industries such as Oil & Gas, Recruitment, Construction and Business Process Services. She then realised her passion for social development and worked in early stage start-ups and consulting firms that helped people realise their unique human capabilities at a scalable level. Her interests lie in designing and developing scalable solutions to solve livelihood and education related challenges in the country.

Richa holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay and a Minor in Industrial Design from IDC, IIT Bombay.

Pragya Maheshwari

Pragya is part of the Consulting Services team in Delhi, leading delivery for clients in the education sector for bringing systemic transformation at scale.

She has over 5 years of experience across multiple functions such as product management, sales strategy, operations management and analytical consulting. At Sattva she has worked as part of a USAID Program called Securing Water for Food, supporting 5 different social enterprises from across the globe (India, Bangladesh, South Africa, Ghana and Mozambique) on their business models, end-to-end marketing and sales strategies, organisational and financial models, value chain mapping, and business system integration.

Pragya is a Chemical Engineer (B.Tech & M.Tech) from IIT Bombay.

Ritu George Kaliaden

Ritu is part of Sattva’s Knowledge vertical with experience in development research and practice in the areas of policy and access, sustainable development and socio-spatial urban research.

Prior to this, Ritu has managed large scale development research studies as well as had corporate stints. She has also worked with The/Nudge Foundation, Make a Difference and Habitat for Humanity International in programme management and research roles. An affiliate of the Temporary Urbanism Lab at the University of Birmingham, she has also undertaken independent research work in collaboration with peers across the globe.

Ritu is an Erasmus Mundus scholar and holds a Masters in International Cooperation and Urban Development from Technische Universitat Darmstadt, Germany and a Bachelors in Architecture from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.

Tulshe Chowdhury

Tulshe is a part of the Consulting Services (Implementation) team in Bangalore and works on on-ground implementation, research, analysis and knowledge development across development themes.

Prior to Sattva, Tulshe was a Gandhi Fellow with the Kaivalya Education Foundation, focused on Leadership Development in Government schools. She has spearheaded several community-based initiatives on development themes such as career guidance for school drop-outs, primary healthcare, drug rehabilitation for families and women empowerment through capability building on access and execution of welfare schemes in the communities. Her core expertise lies in community engagement, organisational capability building and development and programme management. She is committed to the science of strategy formulation, to be able to solve problems and create a more sustainable impact.

Tulshe holds a degree in Economics Honours from Christ University, Bangalore.
